I sit and watch by the window side…
Children and mothers,
Fathers and brothers,
Lovers holding hands,
Walk with each other,
Side by side…

I sit by the walls, by the window side…
Voices, shadows, memories
Haunt me, talk to me…
Give me no respite…
I shut myself in a cage…
To stay away from the worldly rage…
And yet it follows me everywhere…
Cacophony, chaos, clamor all around
As I sit by the window side…

Not a soul, a peer, a lover around…
Four walls, empty halls…
My past I probe,
Mind games, binding chains
Hits me hard, I realize im alone…
Screeching silence, pouring tears,
Sanity ebbing away,
I try to grasp my mind…
